Frequently A.s.s.ed Questions

Q: What is A.S. Systems?

A.S. Systems is a one-person custom PC shop specializing in unique gaming and productivity PCs. Each machine is assembled with care, tested thoroughly, and backed by actual, timely, human support.

Q: How are your builds different?

If you want cookie-cutter, there are dozens of other builders to go with. If you want something different, more personal, and tailored to your exact wants/needs, A.S.S. is here to make shit happen. Check out past builds to see for yourself.

Q: What is your “3’s Policy”?

Our promise of support at every stage:

  • 3 Days – Quick start help & easy returns on defective gear

  • 3 Weeks – Software help & accessory discounts

  • 3 Months – Warranty coverage & free system checkups

  • 3 Years – Loyalty pricing & upgrade discounts

Q: Why do you use used parts in many builds?

We selectively source high-quality, pre-owned components to stretch your budget further without sacrificing performance. This approach:

Delivers better specs at a lower price than all-new builds.

Reduces electronic waste by giving perfectly functional parts a second life.

Keeps valuable hardware out of landfills while still providing reliable, tested performance.

Q: How do you make sure used parts are reliable?

Every used part is inspected, cleaned, and tested extensively before being installed. Components that don’t meet our performance or stability standards never make it into a customer’s build.

Q: Do used parts void the warranty?

No. All components—new or used—are covered under the applicable terms of our 3’s Policy. New parts are also backed by their manufacturer’s warranty. A process we handle, so there are no back-and-forth calls with customer service.

Q: Do you only build gaming PCs?

No. While many of our builds are designed for gamers, we also create systems for content creation, business use, home theater setups, and everyday general computing.

Q: What is the difference between “All Brand New Parts” and “New Build”?

All brand-new parts mean they are 100% brand-new, fresh out the package. Some sellers may use the term “newly built” or “fresh build” or “new build” to hide the fact that many, if not most, of the parts are used, but because they weren’t “used together”, it is a new build.

Here at A.S. Systems, we think that’s a load of shit. And at A.S.S., we know it when we smell it.
